Milestone Celebration Ceremony
On 27th July, HEC cerebrated the overseas project——the Philippines Photovoltaic Cell Fab Retrofit Project achieved key milestones: the tool move-in and the reaching accumulated 500,000 safety construction manhours which marks the project entering into the next stage, Tool Hookup and completion/handover, after 8 months hard work and overcoming one after one challenges.
The Client's Representative highly recognized the HEC's performance on execution capability, construction quality and project schedule, as well as safety management.

Address by David Xie, HEC Project Director
Mr. Xie expressed his sincere gratitudes to the Client for their strong supports and to our partner CCFG for their great efforts. He said: "Over the past eight months, HEC has delivered optimized technical proposals, completed equipment/material procurement, logistics arrangements, and on-site construction/management, working closely with CCFG and all subcontractors while maintaining seamless collaboration with the Client. Thanks to our joint efforts, we have successfully completed all project work requirement and achieved today tool move-in key milestone for the new PV Cell FAB."
"Reviewing the project path, we fully recognize that such achievement isn’t coming easily. We focused on optimizing and reusing the existing plant/facilities in maximum and aimed to reduce overall construction costs for the Client, while accelerating project delivery/construction progress through optimized design solutions."
"During the construction phase, we had overcome many challenges. We resolved logistics delays caused by Manila port congestion with advancing our purchasing and shipment plan. We also divided the site into reasonable construction zones to avoid low efficiency due to the multi-discipline overlapping construction."

Tool Move-In Preparation
"Most importantly, we have now reached accumulated over 500,000 safety construction manhours. This outstanding safety record is attributed to strict EHS management and full compliance to the site safety rules/regulations by every team member." Mr. David Xie emphasized that safety management never stops and EHS management runs through the entire project lifecycle. "In the later stage of construction, we will further strengthen safety controls to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment and site operations. Our goal is very simple: To ensure that every team member returns home safely every day after work."
Mr. Mo Huiling, a representative from the partner CCFG, also expressed his gratitude to Client and HEC for their efficient and close collaboration.
Conclusion
HEC's overseas business is expanding steadily. The successful delivery of every project strengthens the solid foundation of our overseas journey.
